Gloucestershire, South West UK
Gloucester is a fascinating city to visit, and with the Cotswolds and Forest of Dean on your doorstep, you can have it all.
The Cathedral is dripping with history, and for the price of a donation you can see the elegant and breath-taking cloisters where parts of Harry Potter has been filmed. While you’re here, be sure to visit the Museum of Gloucester, and the Tailor of Gloucester Beatrix Potter Museum and Shop. There are lots of events in the city such as the Farmers Market every Friday, the tall ships festival, food festivals in the summer, and much more.
Be sure to visit Gloucester Docks for outlet shopping, incredible food and beautiful surroundings and sample the local ale at Gloucester Brewery.
Add Gloucester to your itinerary and see where Dick Whittington once lived. You can even go for a drink in his former house!
Merseyside, North West UK
Home of Liverpool FC this city has a lot to offer, particularly if you’re a fan of the Beatles!
Go on a Magical Mystery Tour, get lost in the award-winning ‘Beatles Story’ exhibition, see the real Strawberry Fields and visit the world-famous Cavern Club. If you love music, then add the interactive British Music Experience to your list where you can see outfits worn by famous UK musicians.
If art is more your thing, then why not visit the Walker Art Gallery or the home of British and international modern and contemporary art in the North, the Tate Liverpool.
While in Liverpool, don’t forget to see the best views of the Waterfront on the world-famous Mersey Ferry complete with commentary so you don’t miss a thing.
Did you know that approximately 40% of British jewellery is made in Birmingham? The Birmingham Jewellery Quarter is a great place to buy a gift for a loved one. It also has a growing arts scene and lots of restaurants and bars for you to relax after a hard day’s shopping.
Talking of shopping, in Birmingham you can shop ‘till you drop! As home to the famous Bullring and Grand Central shopping centre so get the credit card ready!
If you’re a thrill seeker (or a fan of Thomas the Tank Engine) then Drayton Manor Theme Park is a great way to spend a day, and close by at approximately 15 miles from the city.

NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE
Newcastle as great for campervan city breaks and is bursting with art, culture and history. Home to the Angel of the North which dominates the Gateshead skyline, Newcastle has something for everyone.
You could even venture just outside of the city to Tynemouth Aquarium and discover the amazing underwater world. Or spend a day at the Ocean Beach Pleasure Beach in South Shields.
The Discovery Museum offers a fun and educational day out suitable for all ages. And for the adults, the Livello is a chic, contemporary cocktail bar with space-age neon lighting, backlit wine racks and resident DJs.
